Fans have been offered the chance to become part of Brentford FC history as the Club takes its first steps into the future at our new stadium. We're looking for a family whose support spans the generations to take part in the Club's historic ground-breaking ceremony at the new stadium. You will be the first to plant a shovel in the ground, signalling the start of the build which will see Brentford move to our new home.
All you have to do is tell us why YOUR family deserves this place in Brentford's history. How far back does your family history of supporting The Bees go? What lengths does your family go to in following Brentford? How many generations attend matches together? Whatever your story, tell us and you could win this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will make you #ForeverBrentford.
Just visit our Facebook page and tell us your story using #ForeverBrentford. Include any pictures and images that show your love of Brentford through the generations. Entries must be in by Monday 12 March at 12 noon and you must be available to attend the ground-breaking event on Monday 19 March from 12.30-2.30pm. If you have any queries please contact us by email at email@example.com
A judging panel made up Brentford fans and staff will choose the winning family (up to four members) who will join Matthew Benham and other Club staff and players at the site of the new stadium for the ground-breaking event next month.
For a place in Brentford's history, tell us YOUR story.
For those of you who may be more recent converts to the Brentford family, there’s also a chance to get involved in the ground-breaking ceremony and take away a piece of history from the day – by winning one of the shovels that is being used to break the ground for our new stadium. For your chance to attend the ground-breaking ceremony on Monday 19 March from 12.30-2.30pm with a guest and take home one of the ground-breaking shovels, please visit the Brentford FC website and complete your details: https://www.brentfordfc.com/news/2018/february/stadium-ground-breaking-competition/
