Griffin Park Learning Zone Celebrates 5 Years Great Work
Immediately before the match against Barnet on 10th March 2009 there was a celebration of the GPLZ’s 5th Birthday. There was a reception held in the Zone for all those people and organisations that have supported Jo Emmerson (Project Director) and her team since its inception. In 2008, Jo’s team reached over 2,300 young people, exploiting the unique environment of a football stadium, as well as the creative flair of her small dedicated team, to help those youngsters build their self confidence as well as improve their education. Here’s to the next 5 years!
