Brentford FC has joined London Borough of Hounslow in supporting South Western Railway’s application to the Access for All mid-tier funding programme to make improvements to Kew Bridge station to achieve step-free access.
The £20 million fund is aimed at stations in need of accessibility improvements, offering between £250,000 and £1 million of government support. The deadline for all applications was in October and we await to hear if Kew Bridge station will be selected.
